The journal has been founded as "INTERVENTION. Journal of Economics" in 2004. It is with some significant changes that the journal Intervention entered its fifth year of existence. These changes include the managing editors, the scientific board as well as aim & scope. Furthermore, from 2008 onwards the journal will be published by Metropolis as "INTERVENTION. European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies".
